the Saiyaman saga is simply the story of Gohan going to high school. Gohan creates a identity called The Great Saiyaman to seek out and fight crime under. things of course are not destined to run smoothly and Videl the daughter of the world martial arts champion Mr Satan is out to unmask Gohan. Gohan ends up working together with Videl and teaches her to fly she later in the saga becomes Saiyagirl. the saga is designed to start the lead up to the world martial arts competition and explain how the Z warriors have progressed over the last few years
